Genium rates Warakirri Global Emerging Markets Fund “Recommended”

Research ratings firm and investment consultant Genium Investment Partners has awarded the Warakirri Global Emerging Markets Fund (Fund) a rating of “Recommended” following its inaugural research review. Genium believes the strategy can meet its stated investment objective and exceed its relevant peer group. The strategy has identifiable competitive advantages across several of Genium’s assessment criteria.
The Fund, who’s underlying investment manager is Northcape Capital (Northcape), provides investors with access to a concentrated, benchmark unaware, quality biased emerging markets equities exposure.
Genium believes the Fund offers a compelling prospect for EM exposure driven by the quality of its process and stability of the team, with all of the current portfolio managers having been with Northcape for more than a decade. “One of the most notable aspects of the team is there has only ever been one departure in its almost two-decade history.” said Genium.
