Our Vision for Sustainable and Responsible Investment

Warakirri Sustainability

Warakirri’s vision is to be an active leader in sustainable practices and responsible investment.

Considering environmental, social and governance factors alongside traditional economic drivers is central to our fiduciary responsibility to grow and protect the wealth of our investors. Through a holistic and diligent assessment of impacts, risks, and opportunities, Warakirri seeks to generate positive financial outcomes while contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future.

Our Sustainability Policy provides an overview of the sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities we see across our organisation, including for our agriculture and managed funds platforms. The Policy is supported by a commitment to continual improvement through the implementation of a Sustainability Strategy framed across three pillars: Prosperity, People and Planet.

This approach supports our commitments under the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment, including our contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and aligns with our membership of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia.

Our Sustainability Pillars:
Prosperity, People, Planet

Warakirri’s pillars serve as the foundation for incorporating sustainability considerations into investment decision-making processes across all investment strategies.

Warakirri’s sustainable approach to business is positioned as both a growth driver and a risk mitigator – we strive to create positive impact and long-term value by balancing economic, social and environmental considerations.
