Lonsec maintains "Recommended" rating for the Flinders Emerging Companies Fund

Lonsec Research has maintained its “Recommended” rating for the Flinders Emerging Companies Fund.

The Fund provides investors with access to a portfolio of quality, growing Australian listed smaller companies outside the S&P/ASX Top 100.

Lonsec’s conviction in the Fund is underpinned by the Flinders investment team, which has a combined experience of over 60 years. “The investment team is considered highly capable with strong experience of investing in Australian equities small caps” the ratings agency said. Lonsec also sees the investment process as a strength which it considers to be “logical, structured and highly disciplined, and the Fund remains attractively positioned from a capacity standpoint”. 

The Flinders Emerging Companies Fund offers a portfolio of typicaly around 40 stocks which are selected though an active, research-based approach that assesses risk and investment fundamentals. The Flinders team believe that growing businesses can generate the most value for shareholders, especially if they are identified early in their growth phase.
