Warakirri Diversified Agriculture Fund wins award for Product Launch of the Year

We are pleased to share that the Warakirri Diversified Agriculture Fund was recognised at the recent Financial Standard MAX: Marketing, Advertising & Sales Excellence Awards 2022 as winner of the “Product Launch of the Year” category. Now in its 28th year running, the MAX Awards recognise industry excellence in marketing, advertising and sales in financial services. Warakirri was also the winner of the “Distribution Team of the Year” category, and it was great to be recognised for all the hard work all of our teams do to provide best in class service and solutions for our clients.

The Warakirri Diversified Agriculture Fund, designed specifically for family offices, charities, advisory groups and superannuation funds, has now deployed more than $85m across five best-in-class agricultural assets and tenant partners.

Deals have been secured across three fresh produce sector leaders, a strategic agriculture infrastructure investment (a modern livestock feed mill) and a state-of-the-art winery.

The five Tenant Partners will lease and operate the portfolio’s high-quality investment grade assets across the states of Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania. The properties provide investors with exposure to farmland, infrastructure and water entitlements, producing high quality Berry, Citrus and Soft Leaf Vegetable products for domestic and international markets; a producer of award-winning wines; together with a top 5 national producer of stockfeed.

The investments provide a secure long-term income return to the Fund, stable quarterly income cash distributions and long-term capital growth potential, with an average tenant weighted average lease expiry (WALE) of 13.7 years.
